FIVE WAYS TO GET YOUR DREAM OUT OF THE DRAWER
AND ONTO THE WORLD STAGE!

1.    Pick a special event to enter or promote your completed project. Deadlines can cure most anyone from procrastination. If you’ve always wanted to write a one act play, register to perform it at the next Shakespeare or Fringe Festival even you have nothing written. I did this with my first comedy, “The Table”, a comedy about massage, when I signed up to write, direct and produce it at the Philly Fringe Festival. Writing a general proposal and putting money and your commitment on the line works miracles in getting your dream projects accomplished.

2.    Inspire people you admire to help you with your project. One of my clients, Paul Martino got the President of Sports Management World Wide and the Philly’s Manager to review his book and it led to dream come true speaking and promotional opportunities!

3.    Offer to help someone who is doing what you wanted to do. In some cases it cost a lot less to learn on someone else’s dime and it may lead to a profitable partnership or the start of a profitable business or consulting service.

4.    Get others to help you with your dream. In the case of my first book, Abundant Magical Lives; Insights for Passionate People, without any previous publishing experience I managed to inspire 22 co-authors to pay me a small fee to submit original essays, poetry and art on the same topic: Personal PASSION. On a quest to discover my own passion, this project launched a whole new career for me as a publisher, dream coach and eventually gave me enough courage to pursue my childhood dream career as a playwright and inspirational speaker!

5.    Get a personal coach to help you realize your goals. The biggest mistake I’ve noticed people make is trying to do it alone. Hiring a success coach that specializes in the projects or businesses you are spending your time and resources on is the wisest investment a person can make. These experts can help you map out the most efficient and profitable path to the finish line, play devils advocate from real experience and give you someone to commit to for a fraction of the cost it would take by trial and error.
